PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY:
Proven record of achieving goals in managing multi-disciplinary research and development programs within time and cost constraints. Broad experience in development of novel drug/device delivery systems for the pharmaceutical market. Distinguished record of publications and patents.
WORK HISTORY:
Partner, Innovative Devices, LLC, 6008-101 Triangle Drive, Raleigh, NC, 1/95 to present
Innovative Devices, LLC (IDL) is a North Carolina limited liability company founded in January, 1995 to provide research, development and manufacturing of novel medical devices for the more effective administration of existing therapeutic drugs or drugs under development. Specifically, IDL maintains a focus on inhalation devices for use in administering drugs to the respiratory tract and a device (InteliSite® capsule) which can be targeted to specific sites in the gastrointestinal tract for studying the absorption and/or bioavailability of drugs. IDL has filed patent applications on two inhalation devices and owns issued patents covering the InteliSite® capsule.
Director, Allen & Hanbury's (A&H) Pharmaceutical Development, Pharmaceutical Development, Glaxo Inc., Research Triangle Park, NC, 8/92 to 12/94
